LFV counts on continued growth for aviation during 2011

In line with a growth in aviation of 12% during the first five months of the year, air navigation services provider of Sweden LFV is now revising its forecast upwards for 2011. The number of flight operations in Swedish airspace totalled 284 000 in the first five months of 2011. [6/13/2011]

Aviation up by 6% in first quarter

The first quarter of 2011 has been a period of growth for aviation. The number of operations in Swedish airspace rose by over 6% compared to the first quarter of 2010. International traffic increased by over 9%. [4/14/2011]

Strong start for 2011

Swedish aviation began 2011 on a strong note. The number of operations in Swedish airspace increased by 8 per cent compared to January 2010 and rose to 51 000 operations. International traffic increased significantly by 11 per cent. [2/11/2011]

LFV tendering for air traffic control services in Spain

Both the Spanish and Swedish governments have chosen to privatise civil air traffic control services at their airports. In total, this affects 39 Spanish airports with a traffic volume of over 2 million operations, equivalent to three times greater than LFV's own operations within Production Terminal.
