The Swedish Government has decided to appoint Boel Enjin as Deputy Director-General of LFV, effective 1 September 2026.

The Government’s recruitment process for a new Deputy Director-General of LFV has now been completed. At a Cabinet meeting on 23 July, Boel Enjin was appointed to the position, which she will take up on 1 September.

“I am proud of the confidence the Government has shown in me by appointing me as Deputy Director-General of LFV. I take on this assignment with humility and great commitment. Together with the Director-General and LFV’s highly skilled employees, I look forward to continuing to develop a safe, efficient and environmentally sustainable air navigation service, while addressing the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead,” says Boel Enjin.

“I would like to start by congratulating Boel on her new role at LFV – it is really great news! Having Boel as Deputy Director-General gives me a great sense of confidence and stability. She has extensive expertise and many years of experience from a number of government agencies. After five years with us, she also has a thorough understanding of LFV’s operations. This is going to be great,” says Director-General Magnus Corell, continuing:

“I am also pleased that the Government has now been able to complete the recruitment process, not least because this is an election year. With Boel now confirmed as our new Deputy Director-General, we can move forward with our internal work. I look forward to continuing to work with Boel, now in our new roles as Director-General and Deputy Director-General.”

The recruitment of Boel’s successor as Director of Governance and Finance will be addressed after the summer holidays. In the meantime, Boel will continue to be responsible for matters relating to the Group function.
